Everything Oz is an initiative of The Regulation Collective (“we”, “us” and “our”). These terms apply to the current Everything Oz website, free interactive taster, waitlist and story submission service. Please read them before submitting a form. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.

The current website is free to use. It does not sell subscriptions or take payments. Descriptions of an app, personalisation, additional games or other future features explain what we are building; they are not promises of a particular release date or final feature set. Joining the waitlist creates no obligation to buy anything.
2. Educational information, not individual advice
Our games and explanations provide general educational information about Australian life. They do not take account of your individual circumstances and are not legal, medical, financial, migration or other professional advice.
Rules, services and eligibility requirements can change and may differ between states, territories, councils and providers. State labels and examples matter: a Victorian parking example or NSW quiet-carriage example should not be treated as a statement of every rule in Australia. Check the linked official source and seek appropriate advice before acting on something important.
We aim to make information useful and accurate, but cannot promise it is complete or current for every situation. Contact us about errors so we can review them. A quiz score is a learning aid, not a qualification, assessment of competence or guarantee of an outcome. Do not rely on this website for emergency assistance.
3. Using the website responsibly
You may browse the site and use its free learning material for your own personal, non-commercial learning. Do not misuse the forms, submit spam, impersonate someone, send unlawful or harmful material, attempt unauthorised access, or disrupt the site’s security or operation. Automated activity must not overload the service or attempt to obtain private submissions.
If you are under 18, ask a parent or guardian before providing personal information or submitting a story. You do not need to join the waitlist or provide personal information to play the taster.
4. Waitlist and communications
Provide an email address you control and accurate information. When you join, you request Everything Oz launch updates and invitations or opportunities to test the service. We will not treat a story submission as a request to join the waitlist.
You can unsubscribe using the instructions in an email or by contacting us. Joining does not guarantee early access, an invitation, a benefit or a release date. Any future paid service will have its pricing and relevant terms presented separately before you choose to purchase.
5. Sharing a story
Submit only material you have the right to share. Tell your own experience honestly, avoid unsupported allegations about identifiable people or businesses, and leave out confidential information, contact details and sensitive information about yourself or others.
You retain ownership of your original contribution. By submitting it for consideration, you give us a non-exclusive permission to store it, make the copies needed to operate and back up the service, and review it for possible inclusion in Everything Oz. This permission does not transfer ownership or authorise public publication.
Stories are stored as pending submissions. We will ask for separate approval of any proposed public version, edits and attribution before publishing an identifiable contribution. We may decline a story and are not obliged to publish it or pay for a submission; any payment or broader use would need a separate agreement.
You may ask to withdraw an unpublished story. If a story has already been published with your approval, contact us about removing it from channels we control. We cannot guarantee removal of copies independently saved or shared by other people. The current form does not collect an email address, so we may not be able to contact you unless you contact us separately.
6. Our content and other websites
Website text, artwork, branding, software and other material are owned by us or used under the relevant permissions, except where otherwise identified. These terms do not claim ownership of your original story or third-party source material.
You may share links to Everything Oz. Please obtain permission before commercially reproducing our content or reusing branding or artwork, except where a licence or applicable law permits the use. Do not suggest that we endorse you or your organisation without permission.
Source links are provided to help you check information. External websites are operated by others and may have their own terms, privacy policies and updated guidance. A link does not imply a partnership or endorsement.
7. Availability, changes and misuse
We may maintain, improve or update the website and correct or remove content. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted access, compatibility with every device, or that all faults will be prevented. We may restrict activity reasonably necessary to protect the site, other people or the law.
We will not use changes to these terms to retrospectively expand permission to use your story or personal information. Material changes will be explained on the website, and we will seek further agreement where required. The date on this page identifies the current version.
8. Your rights and responsibility
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies a right, guarantee or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including any applicable rights under the Australian Consumer Law. The educational limitations above do not remove those rights.
Subject to those rights, you are responsible for checking whether general information is appropriate to your situation and for the material you choose to submit. We do not guarantee a particular result from using the website. Any responsibility for loss is determined under applicable law; these terms do not impose a blanket waiver of your rights or require you to indemnify us for every loss.
